Sam rues losing 'soft points'

lackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce has called on his players to ensure they get what they deserve from their final 13 Premier League games of the season.[LNB] Rovers currently lie in the relegation zone and, after an encouraging start under Allardyce, have lost their last two top-flight matches.[LNB]Allardyce's charges face a vital battle when they tackle fellow struggles Hull City on Sunday, and Allardyce has demanded they improve their points return, starting at the KC Stadium.[LNB]"We could have got ourselves out of our position by achieving so much more in terms of points on the board," said Allardyce.[LNB]"We know we have let ourselves down in giving too many soft points away in the last few Premier League games, one of those being Manchester United having watched the match again.[LNB]"In the last five games we have only taken five points. There could have been so many more points on the board - it should have been three wins and two losses.[LNB]"We have to be a bit tougher on ourselves, be a bit more determined, and make sure we get out of the game what we deserve.[LNB]"The performance is good but the points total is not good enough at the moment.[LNB]"Even then the mentality has to be if we are not playing well we don't get beat. If we get something out of a game we don't deserve that is what helps keep you up in this division.[LNB]"Let's hope we can put that together. It is only small things we have to improve on but you have to do it on more than talent."[LNB]
