Allardyce is keen for his team to secure their Premier League status in the next few weeks.[LNB]Blackburn moved on to 31 points - and closer to safety - by beating Hull 1-0 at Ewood Park on Wednesday night.[LNB]With matches against Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal still to come, Allardyce does not want his nerves to be frayed near the end of the campaign.[LNB]He said: "We will have a little break, recharge our batteries and push on from here.[LNB]"We deserve to get away from this freezing weather and get some sun on our backs as we've had nine games in 28 days.[LNB]"We have got some big teams later on so we want to get the points in the bag as soon as we can.[LNB]"I think we play some good stuff. Very rarely do we play long-ball but that's what people tag me with. Perhaps we deserve a bit more credit."[LNB]The narrow victory came after some good work from Sweden's Martin Olsson, whose shot from the byline took a slight deflection off goalkeeper Boaz Myhill.[LNB]Olsson, 21, is beginning to make an impact four years after arriving from Hogaborgs BK.[LNB]These are changed days as he revealed he wanted to return home but his family persuaded him to tough it out.[LNB]Olsson said: "For six months I wanted to go back. Mentally I did not play my best football for a long time.[LNB]"I phoned my family every day. I said I wanted to come home but they told me 'Don't do it'.[LNB]"I hope I can stay here now of course. When I am playing my best football, I know I can play in this league.[LNB]"I just want more games to show that though. If I work hard the manager will pick me. It's as simple as that."[LNB]Meanwhile Hull manager Phil Brown hopes referee Lee Probert admits he was wrong to send off George Boateng.[LNB]The former Middlesbrough midfielder was dismissed for a challenge on Morten Gamst Pedersen.[LNB]Brown said: "George can't believe it, I can't believe it, and hopefully Lee Probert will look at it and he won't be able to believe it either.[LNB]"For me, it was a poor decision. I'm not saying the game hinged on it, but the referee reacted too quickly.[LNB]"It was a clash of heads with two players going for the ball. George was unconscious with a head injury and you can tell by the reaction of the players that it was impulsive.[LNB]"The word 'frivolous' has been attached to the appeals procedure, but the decision could have an effect two or three games down the line if George gets a suspension."[LNB][LNB]
