Sam Believes Goal Should Be Olsson's

Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce believes that the goal scored against Hull on Wednesday night should be credited to Martin Olsson. Rovers took the lead ib the game in the 16th minute when Olsson fired in a shot from the tightest of angles, the ball took a slight deflection off the Hull keeper Boaz Myhill and it went down as an own goal. He said: "It is very harsh not to give him it. He has shown outstanding ability then hits a hard, low shot. "Martin has emerged this year with some gentle encouragement. He really came to the fore against Aston Villa in the FA Cup. "He is now showing what he can do in the league and is a young, emerging talent I am glad to say."
