Blackburn's new Indian owners were facing a dressing-room rebellion last night after manager Sam Allardyce was sacked after less than two years in charge at Ewood Park.[LNB]Captain Ryan Nelsen spoke out on behalf of Blackburn's stunned players following the decision by the Venky's Group to make Allardyce the Premier League's second managerial casualty in a week following Chris Hughton's departure from Newcastle.[LNB]Hughton was installed as the bookies' favourite to succeed Allardyce, with Sven Goran Eriksson and former Rovers striker Alan Shearer also in the frame along with ex-Tottenham boss Martin Jol, who is keen to return to English football after quitting his job at Ajax.[LNB] Rover and out: Allardyce watches his side lose against Bolton in what proved to be his final game as Blackburn boss[LNB]
