Salgado to finish career at Ewood

Veteran defender Michel Salgado is enjoying the Premier League and believes Blackburn will be the last European club of his illustrious career.[LNB] The former Real Madrid and Spain right-back has not ruled out a lucrative move further afield but plans to see out his playing days in Europe at Ewood Park.[LNB]"In Europe, yes. I think this is enough," Salgado, who signed a two-year deal with the Premier League club earlier this season, told the Lancashire Telegraph.[LNB]"It's a long career with competitive teams, 10 years with Real Madrid, and now I am really enjoying it with Blackburn.[LNB]"I think it's going to be my last in Europe, but I still think I have some exciting time ahead here. I wouldn't keep playing if I didn't believe that."[LNB]The 34-year-old has impressed while starting the last eight games for Rovers after a slow start to life in England, and the two-time Champions League winner reckons there is more to come.[LNB]"I am feeling really well," he said. "I am playing regularly, it's great and I think I am improving each week.[LNB]"I have settled into the Premier League and this is very important for me.[LNB]"It's a great end of my career and I am enjoying the Premier League and the culture of football in England, and I enjoy Blackburn."
