Salgado excited by Rovers switch
The experienced right-back was released by Madrid earlier this month after ten years at the Bernabeu.[LNB]Salgado has been mulling over a number of options since Sam Allardyce confirmed his interest last week.[LNB]But it has now been reported in Spain that Salgado has accepted an offer from Blackburn and the 33-year-old says he is happy to be on his way to the Premier League.[LNB]"This was the most interesting proposition in terms of sport, I have always wanted to play in England," Salgado is quoted as saying in the Spanish press.[LNB]It is understood that Real Zaragoza were also keen to bring in Salgado, while he attracted some attention in the Middle East as well.[LNB][LNB]
