Rovers Will Fight To Keep Sam
Rovers chairman John Williams says there has been no contact from West Ham about taking Sam Allardyce to Upton Park, and even if there was, Rovers are not willing to just let go. There have been rumours floating about for some time that West Ham are interested in the Rovers boss, but at the moment he is just reportedly on a four man shortlist with the favourite for the job being Avram Grant. The Hammers would like to interview all four names, the other two being Dave Jones from Cardiff and Ian Holloway of Blackpool.
