Rovers 'too good to go down'

Christopher Samba has tempted fate by insisting that Blackburn Rovers are 'too good to go down'.[LNB] Rovers currently find themselves 18th in the Premier League table, and have won just five of their 24 top-flight games this season.[LNB]Results have improved under manager Sam Allardyce, who took over in December, although he recently suffered his first league defeat in charge.[LNB]Samba feels Blackburn have enough quality to avoid the drop but admits the side must start showing more 'heart and character'.[LNB]Too goodThe defender told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Sometimes things are not going your way but we try to get into the right mentality and get back on the scoresheet. [LNB]"I think we have to show a bit more mental quality and some character so that when things are not going your way you get yourself out of it. [LNB]"We showed against Bolton we could do it, but on Saturday (against Coventry) that was missing. We want to stay in the Premier League because basically we are too good to go down. [LNB]"We have a lot of quality but it is not only about quality sometimes it is about heart and how much you want it so we will be really concentrating on staying in the Premier League. [LNB]"We will stay in the Premier League."[LNB]
