Rovers To Head Down Under
Blackburn Rovers will be spending pre-season in the sun after the club confirmed that they were to fly out to Australia. The destination is Sydney where they will be taking part in a four team tournament in which Rovers will be well supported because of having Aussie internationals Brett Emerton and Vince Grella in their squad. June 28th has been pencilled in as the day Rovers report back, but there will be exceptions of Grella, Emerton, Lars Jacobsen and Ryan Nelsen who look likely to be playing in the World Cup, they will return at a later date.
