Blackburn Rovers have been commemorated in song by a Norwegian rock band. The group, Seven, have recorded five albums, had chart success in their homeland and even featured on MTV. Now they have penned a track called 'Blackburn (Rovers In His Heart)' that tells the tale of one man's affinity with the club, with former star Colin Hendry namechecked in the song. Band promoter Asle Roedfjell told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It's the true story of a former band member who lost his heart to Blackburn Rovers, and then he lost his girlfriend. "It has a cross-over appeal because a lot of people can relate to it, and there are a lot of people in Norway who follow Blackburn Rovers like all the other big Premier League clubs." Roedfjell is now hoping for the ultimate gig as he has asked the club whether the band can perform the song ahead of a home game at Ewood Park.
