Rovers offer Hoilett new deal

lackburn have put a formal contract offer to Junior Hoilett as they attempt to keep the highly-rated youngster at Ewood Park.[LNB] The Canadian starlet will see his current deal at Ewood Park expire next summer.[LNB]A number of Premier League clubs are believed to be monitoring his situation closely, with there a possibility he will soon become available.[LNB]Blackburn are keen to prevent such a situation from occurring and hope the 21-year-old will commit his long-term future to the club.[LNB]Rovers boss Steve Kean has been working hard on thrashing out a deal, with discussions having been held with Hoilett's family.[LNB]He is confident an agreement will be reached, with the package put to the promising forward considered to be very appealing.[LNB]Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I had a great talk with his mum and dad in Toronto.[LNB]"He has since received an offer of a very good healthy contract and the signs are that it is progressing well."[LNB]Further talks are expected before Hoilett decides whether to put pen to paper or not.
