Rovers look at Djebbour

Skysports.com understands Algeria international striker Rafik Djebbour has linked up with Blackburn Rovers on trial. Djebbour recently trained with Tony Mowbray's Celtic squad, but failed to secure a deal with the Old Firm giants. He has now pitched up at Ewood Park and the out-of-favour AEK Athens forward is due to spend the next fortnight training with Rovers. The 24-year-old is set to leave AEK during the January transfer window after falling out with the Greek club's coach Dusan Bajevic. AEK are not expected to demand a big fee for Djebbour should Blackburn decide to make an offer if he impresses on trial. Allardyce could be in the market for attacking reinforcements in the New Year, with on-loan striker Franco Di Santo expected to return to Chelsea.
