Rovers in Egyptian link

Blackburn Rovers have reignited their interest in Egypt international Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, according to ENNPI Cairo's director of football. Rovers took the winger on trial at the end of last year but opted against following up their interest. However, Alaa Abdul-Sadek has claimed the Premier League club have made a renewed approach to take another look at the 21-year-old. Abdul-Sadek said in the Daily Mail: "Blackburn have opened fresh talks to purchase Al Muhammadi this summer. "Blackburn want him to undergo a five-day trial, but the board turned them down as Al Muhammadi was tested at the same club before. "A second trial would be pointless I believe. If they want to sign him, they have to come up with a solid offer."
