Rovers close on starlet

Blackburn Rovers look to have finally won the race for highly-rated Brazilian youngster Dionatan Nascimento, skysports.com understands. The MFK Kosice starlet has spent part of the summer training at Blackburn and he is known to have impressed Sam Allardyce. But the interest is big in the 18-year-old with rival Premier League clubs keen, as well as sides from Italy, Spain and Holland. Manchester City are one of those who have been linked, but Blackburn are hopeful they can tie up a deal for the young defender. One problem for Nascimento is that he is not yet eligible to play in England, so even if Blackburn did secure his signature - they would need to loan him out, with a move back to Kosice being the most obvious option.
