Rover Reid opens talks with Baggies
lackburn midfielder Steven Reid has confirmed he has opened talks with West Brom about a permanent move to The Hawthorns this summer.[LNB] Reid ended the season on loan at Albion after falling down the pecking order at Ewood Park.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international is resigned to leave Blackburn this summer when his contract expires and Reid is hoping to win a move to West Brom.[LNB]"There has been no contract offer at the moment from West Brom, but we have had initial talks," said Reid. "I will try to get away next week to have a holiday and then see what we can sort out.[LNB]"It is exciting times for me. It may sound strange but I feel as though I am ready for a new challenge.[LNB]"I played a few games at West Brom, got myself fit and really enjoyed playing a part in helping them get to the Premier League.[LNB]"It is a decent club and I was delighted to have been involved."
