Paris St Germain winger Jerome Rothen is eager to secure a summer switch to Blackburn Rovers.
Sam Allardyce has confirmed his interest in the 31-year-old former France international but claimed bringing in wide players was 'not a priority'.
Rothen is reported to have travelled to Ewood Park to hold discussions with the Rovers boss and is hoping an agreement can be reached.
He said: "I could find a bit more tranquillity at Blackburn than PSG. We must find a deal."
The former Troyes and Monaco man has fallen down the pecking order at Parc des Princes following disciplinary issues and is expected to move on this summer.
