Robinson still has England hopes

Paul Robinson remains hopeful he could still become England's number one goalkeeper for the World Cup. Robinson was first-choice for England from 2006 up until late 2008. His form dipped with Tottenham and he left for Blackburn, where he has now rekindled his career. Now back in the squad on a regular basis, he is hoping to push for the No.1 jersey again. "It is about consistency," said Robinson who has over 40 caps to his name. "I am on the fringes of the England squad. But the majority of time I have been getting in. "If it comes along, I will just go with it and see where it takes me again."
