Roberts: Substance in Baggies link

lackburn striker Jason Roberts admits there is some "substance" to rumours about a possible return to West Brom. [LNB] The experienced striker has been linked with a return to his former club with the Premier League new boys reportedly willing to pay £1million.[LNB]Roberts is aware that other clubs are interested in signing him, but the 32-year-old is content to leave his future in the hands of Blackburn.[LNB]"I think there is some substance behind that," Roberts told Sky Sports News regarding the speculation.[LNB]"I think there are some situations happening, but I leave that to the club.[LNB]"I'm happy to continue here if that's the case. If not, I'll move on. For me, I keep myself fit and wait and see where I'm going to be."[LNB]Roberts scored in Rovers' friendly win over Fleetwood Town on Saturday and is expecting stiff competition for a place up front this season.[LNB]He added: "We're used to having a lot of people competing for one or two places.[LNB]"Whether the club brings in one, two or three is not really an issue for me."
