Roberts - Rovers are focused

Jason Roberts has stressed that Blackburn Rovers are focused on getting themselves out of a position he deems 'not good enough for a club like this'.[LNB] The former Premier League champions find themselves at the wrong end of the table, although manager Sam Allardyce has helped steady the ship since he took over in December.[LNB]And Roberts, who is currently recovering from a stress fracture to his foot, has vowed that his team-mates will give their all to preserve their top-flight status.[LNB]"It is not good enough for a club like this to be in the position that we are in," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]Concentrating"We want to get ourselves out of this position and make sure we are guaranteed Premier League football next year.[LNB]"We are concentrating on making sure we stay in this position."[LNB]Roberts also confirmed that he has no intention of rushing his comeback from injury.[LNB]The striker added: "With a bone injury you have to be very, very careful. I can't imagine playing unless it is right.[LNB]"I have had four in my career so far. But this is not nearly as bad as some of the other ones I have had. So I am hoping I will be back soon." [LNB]
