Blackburn striker Jason Roberts insists he will not let his detractors affect him as he looks to fire the side to safety. Roberts has come in for some criticism for his goalscoring record and missing a number of big chances in recent games including in the goalless draw with Everton on Wednesday However, the former West Brom hit-man has vowed to ignore the criticism and keep doing his best for the club. "I had a good chance to win it, the keeper stood up well and it rattled against his legs. Some days they go in, sometimes they don't," Roberts told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph. "My goals per start is not too bad, I'll keep plugging away. To score goals you have to miss chances. Being a striker it can be like that sometimes. "I'll keep my head up, keep positive and try to do the right things and I know the goals will come. You have to keep being brave and getting in there. No striker in the world doesn't miss chances."
