Rhodes, Clarke and Parkin Named FL72 FTBpro PFA Fans' Player of the Month For January 2014

Fans were asked to vote for their Football League players of the month for January and they responded in their masses, giving their support to the players they feel have impressed them the most during the month.

The polls are now closed, the votes have been counted and it is now time to reveal the winners of the FL72 FTBpro PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for January 2014.

Football League Championship: Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers)

23-year-old Jordan Rhodes is this months Football League Championship winner. Scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist for Blackburn Rovers in a month where the Blue and Whites earned a FA Cup replay against free scoring Premier League side Manchester City. Rovers currently sit 8th in the Championship as they look to push into the play-off places.

Football League One: Leon Clarke (Coventry City/Wolverhampton Wanderers)

Fans of the Sky Blues have given top scorer Leon Clarke a parting gift after voting in their masses to award the 28-year-old with January's FTBpro PFA Fans' Player of the Month award. The player made a deadline day move to Wolverhampton Wanderers but still made a big enough impression during January to bring in the voters. Clarke was also given the prestigious accolade for his impressive performances during December 2013.

Football League Two: Jon Parkin (Fleetwood Town)

Fleetwood Town's 32-year-old forward Jonathan (Jon) Parkin is the recipient of the Football League Two Player of the Month award and deservingly so after scoring 3 goals for his side in January. Parkin is the clubs 3rd highest scorer with 6 goals in all competitions. Fleetwood currently sit in 4th place in League Two as they look to break into the automatic promotion places.
