Reid completes Baggies loan move
Reid, who turns 29 on Wednesday, has spent much of the season on the fringes at Ewood Park but he goes straight into contention for the match at QPR on Saturday.[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international can play at right-back, right midfield or central midfield and spent a spell with the Hoops earlier in the season.[LNB]Injuries have limited Reid to only 44 appearances over the past four seasons at Blackburn, and he is looking to kick-start his career with high-flying Albion.[LNB]Boss Roberto Di Matteo believes Reid is the player he has been looking for, and told the club's official website: "Steven is an exciting player and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club.[LNB]"We've been looking to strengthen our squad for the final push and Steven certainly fits the bill.
