Reid all about it: Blackburn midfielder joins West Brom Championship chase

Blackburn midfielder Steven Reid has joined Coca-Cola Championship titlehopefuls West Brom on a month's loan.[LNB]Reid, who turns 29 next Wednesday, has spent much of the season on the fringes atEwood Park but he goes straight into the Baggies squad which travels to QPR on Saturday.[LNB]Fresh start: Reid has joined West Brom on loan[LNB]The Republic of Ireland international can play at right-back, right midfield or central midfield and spent a spell with the Hoops earlier in the season.[LNB]Injuries have limited Reid to only 44 appearances over the past four seasons at Blackburn, and he is looking to kick-start his career with high-flying Albion.[LNB]Boss Roberto Di Matteo believes Reid is the player he has been looking for, and told the club's official website, 'Steven is an exciting player and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club.[LNB]'We've been looking to strengthen our squad for the final push and Steven certainly fits the bill.
