Reid agrees two-year Albion deal

lackburn midfielder Steven Reid has signed a two-year deal to join West Brom on a permanent basis when his contract expires at Ewood Park.[LNB] The Republic of Ireland international, who had also held talks with Celtic, spent the final two months of the season on loan with the Baggies and has now agreed to join them for their return to the Premier League.[LNB]Reid, 29, will officially join on July 1 after he passed a medical and has the option of a further 12-month extension on his contract.[LNB]"We are delighted Reidy has decided to rejoin us on a permanent basis," manager Roberto Di Matteo told Albion's official website.[LNB]"He made a big impact last year both on and off the field. He was a consistent performer and also great in the dressing room.[LNB]"Having spent the last six years or so in the Premier League he knows the division inside-out and that kind of experience could prove invaluable."[LNB]
