PSV Prepare For Ooijer Arrival
PSV Eindhoven director Jan Reker has insisted the club will sign Blackburn defender Andre Ooijer this summer.
The Dutch centre-back is due to reach the end of his Blackburn contract at the end of the season.
Although Rovers boss Sam Allardyce stressed earlier this week that Ooijer has not signed a pre-contract agreement with PSV, the Eindhoven giants are convinced 34-year-old Ooijer will return to the Philips Stadion.
Ooijer ended a nine-year spell with PSV in 2006 and has spent three seasons in the Barclays Premier League, with Blackburn considering whether to offer him a contract extension.
But Reker said: "The fact that Andre will play for PSV next season is definitive.
"Andre only needs to take his medical. That will happen after the end of the season."
