Blackburn Rovers' pre-season schedule took a knock last night when they went down 3-0 at npower Championship side Preston North End at Deepdale. Fringe players Matt Pearson, Alan Judge, Rodrigo Branco and Zac Aley all managed to get some time on the field as substitutes.  The home side took the lead as the clock approached 20 minutes, Paul Hayes heading home unmarked for the first of his brace.  Then as half time approached, ex-Rover Keith Treacy supplied the cross that saw Hayes head home for a second time.  The third came from the penalty spot 14 minutes into the second half when Michel Salgado fouled Treacy and Chris Brown gave Paul Robinson no chance from twelve yards.
