Wins for West Ham and Wolves put them within sight of their rivals and both sides remain just three points within Fulham who sit outside the relegation zone in 17th.[LNB]For today though that is all from me, but check back tomorrow for more Premier League coverage including Tottenham v Liverpool and Newcastle v Chelsea. Thank you for following.[LNB]17.01: InfoStradaLive can back me up regarding the goals scored:[LNB]There have been 36 goals scored in the Premier league today, equal-4th most ever on a single day in the division and the most since a 20 team league.[LNB]16.59: Story of the day has to be Manchester United.[LNB]Top of the table after ripping Blackburn apart and Berbatov's five-goal haul, if that is not a gauntlet thrown down to the rest of the title hopefuls I don't know what is.[LNB]16.57: Incredible action in the Premier League, I don't recall so many goals flying left, right and centre like that.[LNB]16.54: Full-time: Stoke 1-1 Manchester City[LNB]16.53: Full-time: Everton 1-4 West BromFull-time: Fulham 1-1 BirminghamFull-time: Wolves 3-2 Sunderland[LNB]16.51: Full-time: Bolton 2-2 BlackpoolFull-time: West Ham 3-1 WiganFull-time: Manchester United 7-1 Blackburn[LNB]16.49: GOAL STOKE 1-1 Manchester City[LNB]In injury time Matthew Etherington has rescued a point for the hosts. Unbelievable the amount of goals flying in today.[LNB]16.47: GOAL! WOLVES 3-2 Sunderland[LNB]Incredible! Wolves have hit back in style and Molineux is in raptures as Sylvan Ebanks-Blake converts a Kevin Doyle cross. Remarkable game.[LNB] Smooth operator: Mark Davies (16) finishes off a well worked Bolton move to equalise for Bolton against Blackpool[LNB]16.46: GOAL! BOLTON 2-2 Blackpool[LNB]What a strike this is, one of the goals of the season! A superb passing move involving Kevin Davies, Johan Elmander and Ivan Klasnic ends with Mark Davies hitting a cool finish from 10 yards. Superb.[LNB]16.45: RED CARD (Youssouf Mulumbu, West Brom)[LNB]16.44: GOAL Everton 1-4 WEST BROM[LNB]Fans puring out at Goodison Park as Youssouf Mulumbu makes the game completely safe for the Baggies.[LNB]16.42: GOAL! West Ham 3-1 WIGAN[LNB]He has been by far and away their best player and Tom Cleverley gets what will probably be a consolation for the lacklustre Latics by firing into the top corner.[LNB]16.41: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 7-1 Blackburn[LNB]Start of a comeback? Ok that is a ridiculous statement to make but Christopher Samba has got a consolation for Rovers.[LNB] Joe's joy: Man City keeper Joe Hart celebrates his side going 1-0 up[LNB]16.40: GOAL! Stoke 0-1 MANCHESTER CITY[LNB]Credit to City they have weathered that Stoke storm and Micah Richards has headed to visitors in front.[LNB]16.39: GOAL! WOLVES 2-2 Sunderland[LNB]Shows the spirit of the side I suppose. George Elokobi's header finds Stephen Hunt in the box who fires the ball home. Delicately poised.[LNB]16.38: What a miss! After Richard Kingson does well to save an effort, Kevin Davies misses a sitter from two yards out, one of the misses of the season.[LNB]16.36: GOAL! Wolves 1-2 SUNDERLAND[LNB]Can it get any worse at Wolves? They have let their lead slip and are now behind courtesy of a Danny Welbeck strike. Anyway back?[LNB]16.34: GOAL! Everton 1-3 WEST BROM[LNB]That should be that at Goodison Park, Somen Tchoyi does brilliantly to cut inside and curl an effort past Tim Howard. Beckford must want the ground to opn up and swallow him.[LNB]16.33: GOAL! BOLTON 1-2 Blackpool[LNB]Nervy times for the Seasiders. Martin Petrov has pulled one back for the Trotters.[LNB]16.32: GOAL! WEST HAM 3-0 Wigan[LNB]Who else to score the third than Scott Parker? he storms through the midfield, takes advantage of desperate defending from Wigan before slotting past Al Habsi. West Ham look safe for just their second win of the season.[LNB]16.30: How has he missed that? For the second time this week Jermaine Beckford has missed a sitter clean through on goal for Everton with just the goal at his mercy. Ten men Everton well on top.[LNB]16.27: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 7-0 Blackburn[LNB]Incredible, Dimitar Berbatov has scored his fifth and joins an exclusive club with Jermain Defoe, Andy Cole and Alan Shearer in scoring five times in a Premier League match.[LNB] Back with a bang: Bent scored in his second game back for the Black cats[LNB]16.23: GOAL! Wolves 1-1 SUNDERLAND[LNB]Wolves are heading for the bottom of the table after Darren Bent looks like he has found his A-game by slotting past Marcus Hahnemann.[LNB]16.21: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 6-0 Blackburn[LNB]It's looking bleak for Rovers. Dimitar Berbatov nets his fourth goal of the game and any suggestion that United were struggling recently better put that theory to bed and not wake it up.[LNB]16.19: Saved! It's a poor penalty from Mauro Boselli and Robert Green makes no mistake in keeping it out. How crucial will this prove as the season unfolds.[LNB]16.18: PENALTY (Wigan)[LNB]16.15: RED CARD (Mikel Arteta, Everton)[LNB]It's handbags but by the letter of the says he has to go. Areta clearly attempts to stamp on Gonzalo Jara.[LNB]16.14: GOAL! Bolton 0-2 BLACKPOOL[LNB]It shows how well Ian Holloway is doing when even I am not surprised by these scorelines anymore. Luke Varney nods home at the near post and Blackpool are heading seventh in the table. Remarkable.[LNB]16.12: GOAL! WEST HAM 2-0 Wigan[LNB]Fabulous finish and well deserved from the Hammers who are well on top in this one. It's Victor Obinna who is the hero and this one looks over.[LNB] Equaliser: Clint Dempsey gets Fulham back in the game shortly after half-time[LNB]16.10: GOAL! FULHAM 1-1 Birmingham[LNB]Great response from Fulham, a header finds Clint Dempsey four yards out who makes no mistake from such a close range.[LNB]16.08: GOAL! WOLVES 1-0 Sunderland[LNB]Given results elsewhere, how crucial is this? After Matt Jarvis forces Craig Gordan into a fine save Kevin Foley (who started the move) follows up to crash the ball home.[LNB]16.06: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 5-0 Blackburn[LNB]Be afraid, be very afraid. United are on fire, Nani checks back on to his left foot to fire past Robinson and this can only get worse for Blackburn.[LNB]16.05: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 4-0 Blackburn[LNB]When this guy is on fire he is unplayable. Dimitar Berbatov starts the move 80 yards out, knocking the ball out to Nani on the wing.[LNB]The winger carries the ball forward before playing the ball into the box for the Bulgarian to finish. Sublime.[LNB]16.02: Back underway in the Premier League[LNB]15.56: Our friends at opta may be able to explain why Rooney is not scoring as much. He has turned provider in that he has now assisted five goals in the Premier League this season; two more than in the whole of last term.[LNB]15.53: All very much game on in the Premier league...except at Old Trafford, Despite that early goal looking controversial (controversial goal at Old Trafford? For United? really?)[LNB]The home side have been well on top and are heading for the top of the table.[LNB]15.49: Half-time: Manchester United 3-0 Blackburn[LNB]15.48: Roberto Mancini is not happy at half-time, he approaches referee Peter Walton gesticulating something with his hands.[LNB]Only thing I can remember was a penalty shout in that first-half which James Milner was brought down. He may have a point though, City looked hard done by that.[LNB]15.47: Half-time: Stoke 0-0 Manchester CityHalf-time: Wolves 0-0 Sunderland[LNB]15.46: Half-time: Bolton 0-1 BlackpoolHalf-time: Everton 1-2 West BromHalf-time: Fulham 0-1 BirminghamHalf-time: West Ham 1-0 Wigan[LNB]15.43: I've seen him try that a couple of times this season and it so nearly works again. Charlie Adam spots Jaaskelainen off his line from 50 yards and his effort has the keeper beat before just clearing the crossbar.[LNB] High riser: Tim Cahill puts Everton back in the game[LNB]15.42: GOAL! EVERTON 1-2 West Brom[LNB]Just where would Everton be without this Australian's 'bonce'. Tim Cahill once again leaps well from a Baines corner to head Everton back into this game.[LNB]15.40: An entertaining game at Molineux, both sides have had decent chances but still no breakthrough. I can't see that one finishing goalless.[LNB]15.36: Suddenly West Ham are swarming all over Wigan. Frederic Piquionne rises highest from a corner to force a fine save from Al Habsi. Amazing what confidence can do to a team.[LNB] Crucial: Valon Behrami celebrates putting West Ham in front[LNB]15.33: GOAL! WEST HAM 1-0 Wigan[LNB]The game has been dire but life has been breathed into it as Valon Behrami takes advantage of sloppy play from Steven Caldwell to steal in and finish past Ali Al Habsi.[LNB] Mobbed: Blackpool players surround Ian Evatt (centre) after his header put his side in front at Bolton Wanderers [LNB]15.29: GOAL! Bolton 0-1 BLACKPOOL[LNB]Another side failing to take advantage. It's Blackpool's first real attack but they have been clinical this season and are again today as Ian Evatt headers past Jussi Jaaskelainen.[LNB] Berba-god: Dimitar Berbatov scores his second to put United three up[LNB]15.28: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 3-0 Blackburn[LNB]Shocking from pascal Chimbonda, he lays the ball back to Robinson...well that's his intention. instead Dimitar Berbatov intercepts it and he is left with an easy finish past the Rovers keeper.[LNB] Unstoppable: Tim Howard dives in vain trying to stop Chris Brunt's free-kick[LNB]15.27: GOAL! Everton 0-2 WEST BROM[LNB]Goodison Park is stunned into silence after a superb free-kick from Chris Brunt. Tim Howard spends some time adjusting the wall but Brunt from just outside the box blasts it right into the corner. Unstoppable those.[LNB] No time wasted: Ji-Sung Park quickly doubled United's lead[LNB]15.24: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 Blackburn[LNB]Could be a long afternoon for Rovers. Rooney is again involved as he provide a killer pass for Ji-Sung Park to score his fifth goal of the season.[LNB]15.23: What has Mick McCarthy done to deserve this sort of luck? Doyle flicks on a ball in the box where Richard Stearman bundles the ball in the goal...before being flagged for offside. However  he looks level with the play. Will need to see that again.[LNB] Placement: Sebastian Larsson befitted from good play from Alexander Hleb to put Birmingham City a goal up at Craven Cottage[LNB]15.21: GOAL! Fulham 0-1 BIRMINGHAM CITY[LNB]I haven't seen Hleb do that since he wore an Arsenal shirt. He has been fairly anonymous so far but after beating two players with superb skill he feeds in Sebastian Larsson to fire past Mark Schwarzer.[LNB]15.20: Still Stoke are on top at the Britannia. Kenwyne Jones and Ricardo Fuller have both gone close but City still survive.[LNB]15.18: How's your luck Mick McCarthy? Kevin Doyle has just blazed over from seven yards, deary me he really should score for Wolves there.[LNB]Alert: Paul Scharner scores for West Brom[LNB]15.15: GOAL! Everton 0-1 WEST BROM[LNB]A funny old game football, Everton have dominated this one but a hopeful punt upfield  from West Brom results in a corner.[LNB]Chris Brunt whips it in to the near post where Paul Scharner headers past Tim Howard.[LNB]15.14: Wigan the more settled side at Upton Park but no real chances yet. Looking quite nervy and given the position of the two sides in the table no surprise. [LNB]15.11: Everton on top at Goodison Park. Leighton Baines hits a delightful free-kick at the back post but Sylvain Distin fails to trouble Scott Carson.[LNB]15.10: What Man City have turned up? The 1998 spec is the answer, Stoke are dominating at the Britannia and Rory Delap's pesky throw ins are causing one or two problems.[LNB]15.08: Decent start from Fulham, Aaron Hughes has a shot cleared off the line with Simon Davies firing over from the follow up.[LNB]15.05: Should be interesting to see 'who is up for it' these cold condition are a bit unseasonal and a few south American stars may go missing today.[LNB]Early knockings: Michael Carrick congratulates goalscorer Dimitar Berbatov[LNB]15.02: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 Blackburn[LNB]Apologies as I missed this one due to blinking. Slightly controversial as Paul Robinson seems to be fouled in the build up and is struggling to get back in goal by the time the move finishes.[LNB]Nevertheless Nani clips the ball in for Wayne Rooney to flick on for Dimitar Berbatov to put into an open goal.[LNB]15.01: Away we go in the Premier league.[LNB]15.00: ...and just before we get underway some previews from Andy Townsend's boot room.[LNB]14.58: Lineups from the two other Premier league games:[LNB]Bolton v BlackpoolBolton: Jaaskelainen, Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Robinson, Lee, Mark Davies, Muamba, Taylor, Kevin Davies, Elmander. But defeat for the Hammers and they could be seven points adrift of that same line by the end of the day.
