Police confirm Eastlands bottle probe

Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation after a glass bottle was thrown at the end of the Manchester City v Blackburn clash.

The object was hurled from the crowd as as players were leaving the field following the Premier League clash at Eastlands on Saturday.

Police have confirmed they were looking into the incident. No player was hit and there were no reports of any injuries.

The bottle has been seized by police and an investigation is under way. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
