Plenty of interest in Rovers target Zigic

Blackburn have been told there have been 15 clubs showing interest in Valencia striker Nikola Zigic, who is believed to be a target for Sam Allardyce. Zigic's representative has also distanced his man from any move to Ewood Park. Rovers boss Allardyce is believed to be interested in the giant front man as a replacement for Roque Santa Cruz, who has joined Manchester City for £17.5million. But Zigic's representative Milan Calasan has not heard from anyone at Blackburn. He said: "Nobody has contacted me from Blackburn Rovers about Zigic. There is a lot of interest, maybe 15 clubs have called me about him but I think they have been shocked by the money wanted by Valencia. "A top German club has made a proposal for Nikola but he does not want to go there. He has always said he would be interested in a move to England and if he was to go there it would have to be the right club that understands his characteristics."
