Phil Jones undergoes successful knee surgery as Blackburn defender begins rehab

Blackburn defender Phil Jones has undergone successful knee surgery but is still unlikely to play much before the end of the season.[LNB]The 18-year-old tore a cartilage after coming off the bench in Saturday's Barclays Premier League draw with West Ham at Ewood Park.[LNB] On the road to recovery: Jones (right)[LNB] Rovers doctor Phil Batty told the club's website: 'Phil Jones had keyhole surgery yesterday to repair the tear to his cartilage.
