Petrovic close to Rovers move

Radosav Petrovic looks set for Blackburn after his agent revealed they were the only club in the running for the Partizan Belgrade midfielder.[LNB] Partizan confirmed over the weekend that Petrovic was still likely to leave the club despite seeing a move to Vitesse Arnhem break down.[LNB]Vitesse technical director Ted van Leeuwen told Omroep Gelderland: "It looks like a deal will be made (with Blackburn), so it will be hard for us."[LNB]Roma have also been linked with the 22-year-old but his agent, Jovica Radonjic, has dismissed the speculation.[LNB]He told tuttomercatoweb: "Roma? I do not think there is something - at least I have not talked about anything. The same is true with regard to Fiorentina.[LNB]"Blackburn? In this case I can confirm, and it is something serious. Indeed, at the moment, this is the only option for my client. I'm almost sure the player will leave Partizan."[LNB]Petrovic international joined Partizan in 2008 and has helped the club win the league for the past three seasons.[LNB]Sky Sports claim the 6ft 4in Serbia underwent a medical at Rovers on Wednesday ahead of a proposed £2.7million move.
