Pedersen would love to win Millwall clash

Morten Gamst Pedersen is going to be looking to do something special and help Rovers overcome Millwall at the Den and wipe out an old memory.

Pedersen's mind wanders back to 2007 when during the semi-final game with Chelsea he missed a sitter of a chance that would have put Rovers 2-1 up at Old Trafford.  But the Norwegian missed an easy header with just eight minutes left on the clock and the Londoners went on to win the tie in extra time and make a date with Manchester United in the final at Wembley. ‘I remember that game like it was yesterday,’ said Pedersen told the Daily Mail. ‘We played so well. It was maybe one of the best games we've played during my time here." He added: ‘I actually had two headers. One beat Petr Cech and hit the inside of the post and another went outside it. You remember those things and it would have been great to reach the first cup final at the new Wembley – but it's history now. The only thing we can affect now is the future.’
