Blackburn Rovers midfielder Morten Gamst Pedersen could be facing up to 10 days on the sidelines with his calf strain.[LNB] The Norway international is nursing the problem after playing just 26 minutes of the 2-1 Premier League victory over Tottenham at the weekend.[LNB]Pedersen insists the injury is not as serious as first feared, but confesses that he has only a half-chance of facing title-chasing Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.[LNB]Sam Allardyce's relegation-threatened side are already set to be without Jason Roberts for three weeks after the striker sustained a stress fracture in his foot, and further injury concerns will not help the one-time Premier League champions.[LNB]Pedersen told Nettavisen: "It is fortunate that the muscles are not damaged, but something in the surrounding area.[LNB]"I did not understand completely what they (Rovers' medical staff) said, but something is torn and bleeding.[LNB]"But I feared it would be worse. They believe it will take five to 10 days before I am ready again, and it is perhaps fifty per cent that I will be ready to face Liverpool."[LNB]
