Ooijer mulling over Cyprus move
Veteran Dutch defender Andre Ooijer could resume his career in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca.[LNB] Ooijer, in South Africa with the World Cup squad, is looking for a new challenge after leaving PSV Eindhoven.[LNB]The 35-year-old was stunned at not being offered an extension to his 12-month deal after three seasons at Blackburn.[LNB]However, he might now link up again with AEK technical director Jordi Cruyff - they came through Ajax's youth system together.[LNB]Ooijer's agent Sigi Lens told Voetbal International: "It is true we are in talks with Larnaca.[LNB]"Andre is open about this as he enjoyed the experience of playing in a foreign country with Blackburn."[LNB]
