// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Blackburn midfielder Steven N'zonzi admits he has been surprised at how quickly he has established himself in the side.

N'zonzi arrived at Ewood Park as a relative unknown after signing from French side Amiens in the summer.

The 20-year-old has forced himself into Sam Allardyce's plans and scored his first goal for the club in the 6-2 thumping at Arsenal last weekend.

N'zonzi is happy with his progress and is determined to keep his place in the starting XI.

"I didn't know (about playing regularly) when I came but it is good for me," N'zonzi told the club's official website.

"I hope I will continue to play, to progress every time."
