Blackburn boss Sam Allarydce has completed the signing of young French midfielder Steven N'Zonzi from Amiens SC. The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with the Ewood Park club to become Rovers' fourth signing of the summer. Despite Amiens suffering relegation from Ligue 2 in France last season, N'Zonzi impressed during his 35 appearances and has even been likened to fellow countryman Patrick Vieira. An undisclosed fee was agreed between the two clubs for N'Zonzi, who has represented France at youth level. Allardyce has already bolstered his squad with the signings of Gael Givet, Elrio van Heerden and Lars Jacobsen. The Blackburn boss has funds to spend in the transfer market and needs to bolster his striking options following the departures of Roque Santa Cruz and Matt Derbyshire.
