No Rovers Hoffer for Erwin
Erwin Hoffer's agent has rejected speculation linking the Austrian with a move to Blackburn Rovers.
Reports emanating from England have suggested Blackburn are lining up a move for the Rapid Vienna hit-man as a replacement for Roque Santa Cruz.
The 22-year-old has caught the eye at Rapid, scoring 27 goals in 34 games last season, but the player's representative, Rupert Marko, insists he has not had any contact with Blackburn over Hoffer.
"English newspapers are writing a whole lot of stuff, all I can say at this point is neither I nor the player has been in touch with anyone concerning a transfer thus far," Marko told Kurier newspaper.
"I do not believe in a transfer this summer. Normally defensive minded players are more wanted in the transfer market and this summer there are only those mega transfers that happen.
"There is no real action regarding the player."
