No Place For Dunn At Brum
A groin injury picked up by midfielder David Dunn looks like keeping him out of the side that faces Birmingham City at St Andrews on Saturday. Dunn picked up the injury in the opening day fixture against Everton, and his chances of a return to St Andrews on Saturday are looking very slim. Vince Grella will also be on the sidelines, he has been having trouble with a calf injury but Allardyce is hoping he will be fit for the Carling Cup tie with Norwich City on Tuesday.
