No deal for Rigters
Southend have decided not to offer a contract to Blackburn striker Maceo Rigters.
The Dutch forward has been training with the Essex club and has made two appearances in pre-season but manager Steve Tilson has decided not to take his interest further.
Rigters failed to make an appearance for Blackburn last season and was loaned out to Norwich and Barnsley.
