Newcastle sign Kevin Nolan for £4m from Bolton

The 26-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at St James' Park bringing to an end a 10-year association with the Reebok Stadium where he was captain. [LNB]"When I heard there was a chance of getting Kevin I was determined we would pull out all of the stops to bring him here," Kinnear said. [LNB]"He's a player I think our fans will love. He's a real inspirational player and a great character. He's the sort of lad who never knows when he is beaten. [LNB]"He's got a good eye for goal and has got bags of Premier League experience." [LNB]Nolan will wear the number four shirt and is set to make his debut when Newcastle host Sunderland in the Tyne-Wear derby on Sunday.
