Mullen happy with Marshall swoop

Rotherham assistant manager Jimmy Mullen has hailed the signing of Marcus Marshall following the youngster's arrival from Blackburn.[LNB] The 20-year-old made 22 appearances for the Millers during a successful loan spell last season, before making the move permanent by signing a two-year deal on Wednesday.[LNB]"I think that Marcus has earned the contract that we have put to him," Mullen told the club's official website.[LNB]"When he first arrived from Blackburn he was very patient in waiting for his opportunity and when he got his chance he showed he had the potential to become a very good player.[LNB]"We are very pleased to now have him on board full time and we are looking forward to working with him."[LNB]Elsewhere, the Millers have added a home friendly against Hull (July 20) to their pre-season schedule.
