Morris still in seventh heaven

Blackburn youngster Josh Morris says Rovers' 7-1 defeat at Old Trafford did not spoil his "dream" debut. The performance of Morris, 19, was one of the only bright spots for Sam Allardyce's side against Manchester United on Saturday after he came off the bench in the 52nd minute. The midfielder marked his first senior appearance by providing the assist for Christopher Samba's late consolation and he hopes to be involved again soon. "It is a dream come true," Morris told www.rovers.co.uk. "It is a shame about the result but still, to play the last half an hour in front of 70,000 was amazing. "It is everyone's dream to play, especially at Old Trafford. I was told at half-time I might be coming on, did a bit of a warm up and the next minute I came on. I am still buzzing from it. "Hopefully I get another chance in the next few weeks."
