Blackburn full-back Michel Salgado has agreed a contract extension until the end of next season.
The former Real Madrid and Spain defender, 35, is a firm favourite at Ewood Park since arriving in August 2009 and joins Ryan Nelsen in agreeing a new deal.
Rovers boss Steve Kean told his club's website: 'To keep Michel here is great news, his experience is invaluable and his enthusiasm infectious.
'He's a winner and you can never have too many of those.'
