Benni McCarthy's wish to quit Blackburn in January could be wrecked by Rovers demanding £3.5million for the 31-year-old.[LNB]South Africa striker McCarthy has made just four league appearances this season and Rovers manager Sam Allardyce said: 'At his age I'd understand if he wants to play first-team football.
