Lars Deal Done? West Ham Wait.
West Ham are waiting until the Premier League has caught up with their paperwork to find out whether they have signed right-back Lars Jacobsen from Blackburn. The player will join the Upton Park outfit if the paperwork was received in time by the powers that be before 18:00, West Ham faxed the details through at 17:58. Hammers were left waiting to find out whether the deal was done in time, if so Jacobsen joins on an initial loan deal that can be made permanent if he impresses the London club.
