Kean won't rush new signings

Blackburn manager Steve Kean believes it could be up to three weeks before new signings Mauro Formica and Ruben Rochina are ready to play. Formica, a 22-year-old forward, has joined from Argentina side Newell Old Boys in a deal thought to be worth £3.5million after Rovers snatched him from under the nose of Ligue 1 side Monaco. Rochina, 19, gives Kean another attacking option after being recruited from Barcelona's `B' team. Blackburn lacked sharpness in front of goal against Tottenham - despite Mame Biram Diouf and Jason Roberts both putting in hard shifts up front - with Peter Crouch's fourth-minute goal proving the winner. But Rovers fans will have to wait to see the new boys in action. Kean, who is due to meet the club owners on Thursday before they fly back to India said: "The two players have only just arrived. Ruben came in on Wednesday. "Formica arrived only a couple of days ago to start training. He has been off and had a break for five weeks. So I can see it being two or three weeks before they are involved."
