Kean: We can beat the drop

Blackburn manager Steve Kean is confident his side can escape relegation even though they have failed to win in 10 league games. That run has seen Rovers tumble down the league and leave them only a point clear of the bottom three. Blackburn host Bolton on Saturday and Kean, who saw his side lose 1-0 at Manchester City on Monday night, knows they must avoid defeat at least. He said: "If we lost two successive home games psychologically it would be very tough for us. "We have a very good group. They are strong characters. I don't think we will be beaten by Bolton." Kean expects Junior Hoilett to have recovered from a hamstring strain in time for the derby and will monitor the fitness of David Dunn, who hobbled off with a calf problem against City.
