Kean Survives Ninja Attack.

Rovers manager Steve Kean had to be saved from an irate chap at the training ground on Monday when he attempted to show the unpopular manager the error of his ways.

Reports in the Daily Star say that the intruder to the training complex seemed to be intoxicated as he made a bee line for Kean, obviously to put a point or two forward about something.

He never reached Kean as one of the bodyguards that he has to have following him everywhere wrestled the chap to the floor and waved a finger at him vigorously.

A “source” at the club told the paper: “The supporter just appeared from nowhere during the session and was intent on getting at the manager.

“He made a bee line for him and clearly had some things he wanted to get off his chest.

“He didn’t get the chance because one of the manager’s bodyguards got to him first and stopped him, but the players couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

“No-one was hurt or anything but it left them all shook up. It was just symptomatic of the current crisis the club finds itself in at the moment.”

The incident led to the training session being cut short.
