Kean Says Not Guilty To Drink Driving Charge

Blackburn manager Steve Kean appeared at Crewe Magistrates Court today and denied a charge of drink driving. It is alleged that 43 year old Kean was almost twice the legal limit when he provided a breath specimen after being pulled over just hours after the game at home to Manchester United on May 14th. Kean pleaded not guilty to the charge of having 65 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
