Kean On League Cup Exit

Blackburn manager Steve Kean had to admit that his side looked out of sorts after going out of the Capital One Cup at the hands of MK Dons last night.

Kean made seven changes to the side that won at the weekend and once again the chant 'Kean Out' was being used again.

Luke Chadwick was the man who did the damage when he grabbed two goals in the second half to send Rovers reeling.

Kean told reporters after the game: "I never thought we played well, I felt that we were a little bit predictable in the end.

"Obviously we made a few changes because the older players in the squad, by the time we get to Saturday, if they had played it would have been five games in 14 days.

"So it was an opportunity for some players who have not played as many minutes as others to get the chance and it was up to them to take it."
